Broadcore Joins Hands with IVR Service Provider Inference SolutionsOctober 29, 2012
Broadcore (News - Alert), a subsidiary of Masergy Communications, in partnership with IVR service provider Inference Solutions, now offers access to advanced IVR and speech recognition applications. The service is offered as part of Broadcore cloud communications offering. Inference Solutions provides the ability to rapidly deploy these applications using the ‘no code’ service creation environment Inference Studio 2.0. “This service allows us to further evolve and enhance upon the BroadSoft (News - Alert) call center offerings and brings to the Enterprise space a real alternative to IVR premises based solutions,” said Michael Bacich, vice president, Cloud Communications, in a statement. Studio 2.0, according to Inference Solutions director of Partner Development, John Camp, gives clients back the control IVR service providers and speech recognition vendors have historically taken away from them. “Our Web based development environment simplifies what has previously been seen as a complex and expensive process,” Camp added. “Studio 2.0 will provide Broadcore clients with the ability to deploy applications as simple as surveys to more complex applications such as speech biometrics that integrate natively with their cloud communications platform.” Studio 2.0 will be launched as part of BroadSoft Connections 2012 this week in Scottsdale, Arizona. The company will demonstrate how IVR applications can be created and deployed rapidly without the need for skilled programmers trained in Call Control XML (CCXML) or Voice XML (VXML). Broadcore provides cloud communications services for businesses that help them increase employee productivity, accelerate business processes, and improve customer care through tight integration of dispersed communications endpoints for office, mobile and call center employees. The company offers a unified communications platform for voice (VoIP), data, and mobility communications across the enterprise and multi-location businesses using an extensible, highly scalable IP communications system.
