Microlog Corporation, a call center software and IVR service provider, has won a contract from DeKalb County Georgia Department of Treasury and Accounting, to deploy IVR solutions to deliver enhanced services to citizens. The IVR and contact center software from Microlog are designed to enhance the productivity of the customer contact center experience, as well as provide consultation on a variety of system integration options, according to company officials. The service will be used by DeKalb County Department of Treasury and Accounting / Water Sewer Billing (WSB) to enable citizens to make inquiries regarding water account information and make bill payments via telephone on a 24/7 basis. By deploying the IVR service , DeKalb County will simplify the billing and payment collection of approximately residential customers who are billed bimonthly and approximately 16,116 non-farm business customers who are billed monthly. Microlog IVR system includes features such as statistical reporting. Thanks to the TTY signaling technology, the IVR service will equally benefit hearing impaired. It also provides the option to create custom phone applications for automated surveys. Additional benefits of the IVR service include the ability to create static notification lists, such as emergency contacts, or import random caller lists and configure the system to contact the caller list, play a specific message and give the caller predefined options to respond to the message. In addition to Government customers, Microlog Corporation also provides services to Healthcare and Lotteries. Microlog also provides migration of e-commerce into the traditional call center environment by Web enablement. The company's award winning products support this Web enablement, as well as supporting all inbound and outbound media, telephone, e-mail, fax, and Web for contact centers. "Microlog is pleased to welcome DeKalb County to its family of customers," said Microlog CEO Richard Meccarielli, in a statement. "We are looking forward to supporting the requirements and building a long standing relationship going forward." Want to learn more about the latest in communications and technology?
